It has been well publicised (supposedly) about the change to VAT regarding the Royal Mail&#8217;s postage charges, this affects our current clients – and of course potential clients. So we want to show you how we’ve found a variety of ways to keep costs low and maximise the amount mailed per budget.<br />

&nbsp;<br />
<strong>The ‘Loophole’ used for Bupa Care Homes to <span style="color: #99cc00">get a 1p not a 4p increase</span></strong><br />
<span style="color: #99cc00">&nbsp;</span><br />
Having historically worked with Royal Mail, Bupa Care Homes needed to find a way to maintain their current spend without the budget increase that the Royal Mail’s change to VAT and prices would have. We chose to find alternative postage suppliers such as DSA, additional service discounts and found a VAT loophole that enabled us to limit any increase to just 1p!<br />
&nbsp;<br />
&nbsp;<br />
<strong>The ‘Research’ used for Hillarys <span style="color: #99cc00">for cheaper rates</span></strong><br />
&nbsp;<br />
Hillarys had already worked hard to arrange a new deal with their own postage supplier, at this stage we chose to check into it’s details and see if we could add anything else. In doing so, we discovered a few service options that they had not seen – one of which was a better and cheaper option.<br />
&nbsp;<br />
&nbsp;<br />
<strong>The ‘Negotiation’ used for Interflora for <span style="color: #99cc00">no increase at all!</span></strong><br />
&nbsp;<br />
By utilising the sheer volume that Interflora print, we could negotiate between suppliers to get the best price for the job. Couple this with qualifying for additional service discounts and altering some small elements within the packs – Interflora won’t see any increases in their postage charges.<br />
